So here comes the latter:

- My name is Elizabeth, and the name Lies is just one of my nicknames. It comes from "Liz", and when I was around 12 the people in my class would amuse themselves by pronouncing the "I" in names as you would pronounce "I" in the alphabet. So I was Lies instead of Liz, and it stuck.

• I was born on the 23^rd October 1980, in Husum, which is in Copenhagen, Denmark.
• I have a big brother called Christian and a little sister called Helene; they are 25 and 12 years old.
• At the age of 1, my father got himself a job as an engineer at a research center in northern Italy, which works for the European Union. The family moved along, and I was put into the European School of Varese, where there weren't enough Danish pupils to form a Danish section, so I got to join the English-speaking pupils instead (although I wasn't English speaking at the time…. I managed my way through the first grades in school by speaking Italian, which I had learnt in kindergarten). Thus, I got used to expressing myself in English instead of my mother tongue, and 99% of my poetry is in English.
• In school I have learnt 4 languages (Danish, English, Italian and German), and I also studied two years of French. In future I hope to build myself a career as a Chalk Outline Guy… okay, I was joking - as an interpreter. I'll be graduating this summer (July 4^th, 1998) and will return to my origins in DK and take a year off, where I'll be concentrating on my true interests; creative writing, painting, singing, perhaps computer programming and other creative stuff yet to be discovered. I'm planning on travelling around, maybe get myself a couple of McJobs in pizzerias and 7-elevens to get the money. Later I'll be going to university, and actually start studying English, Italian and computer studies.
• Apart from the above, I don’t know what I'll be doing; find myself a husband, have a couple of kids… that sort of thing.
• Oh, now my INTERESTS: I am a VERY lazy girl, so I tend to do very little sports, and do my best to get away with hanging around the couch and watch TV. If forced, or if getting an attack of hyperactivity, I will go swimming or rollerblading, or play a match or two with my sister at Ping-Pong. My two addictions are Coca-Cola and IRC/ICQ. As mentioned above, I like creative stuff. I read anything that looks good to me, and listen to music. Actually, add music as my third addiction. I take singing lessons and have done some concerts with the school, singing Musicals, Whitney Houston songs, Celine Dion songs, and then I've been in the school choir, where we travelled around Portugal and did shows. I sang those songs because they suit my voice; I like them pretty much too, but I never bought the albums. What I look for in music tends to be good lyrics. So techno and that sort of thing is not my kind. My music is where I get nearly all my inspirations from, as you will have noticed when you without doubt visited my "inspirations-zone"J .
